2010年4月28日、ハワイ大学ヒロ校で、Ashraプロジェクトとして担当している
"Particle Astrophysics"の講義に参加している4人の学生が、授業の一環として
Ashraマウナロア観測地を訪れました。
いつもは論文やウェブの図・写真しか見ていない学生達にとって、実際の検出器
は印象深かったようです。一人の学生はこんな感想を書いてくれました。
"I thnk this is a really neat facility, and I can definitely see this
place being where many new and interesting dicoveries will be made.
I look forward to reading about research being done here in the future!
